CHANGE OF PLANS?

I personally don't want Louis Van Gaal to leave Manchester United, but, guys, wouldn't it be cool if Jose Mourinho joined with Manchester United to heat up the Manchester derby next season! Manchester United vs Manchester City and Jose Mourinho vs Pep Guardiola. Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola never got on in Spain when Jose was manager over Real Madrid and Pep over Barcelona. If Jose Mourinho joined, the Premier League would be more exciting than ever before! But there is another alternative.

Sir Alex's assistant manager, Carlos Queiroz. Carlos Queiroz was responsible for most of the big signings at Manchester United in the past such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Nani, Anderson (When he was good), etc. the list goes on. This guy knows his football so well. What players to sign. He is the one who made the Ronaldo we know now get to where he is. He is the one that made him grow! Sir Alex loved this guy and I think he will be superb! He carried the Iran National team into the 2014 World Cup and managed to concede only one goal against Argentina in the 90th minute of the match. Phenomenal! Unfortunately though, Carlos Queiroz has a contract for the National Team till the 2018 World Cup. But wouldn't he be great!

NEW ACADEMY HEAD

Nicky Butt has been appointed as Manchester United's head of academy. Some younger fans
might be thinking: "Who is he, and why does he deserve to be head of our academy players?" Nicky Butt, who is 41, is a graduate of the academy's "Class of 92" and made 287 appearances for the club and winning: six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, a UEFA Champions League and an Intercontinental Cup winners' medal.

Ed Woodward commented: "As a graduate of its finest team in the modern era, Nicky will bring passion, energy and experience to drive the academy forward." And Nicky Butt reacted saying: "Our aim remains the same - to keep supplying the first team with well-coached, rounded players that understand the responsibility of playing for the biggest club in the world."

SOUTH STAND NAME CHANGE AFTER THIS LEGEND

The South stand at Old Trafford is to have a name change after the legend himself, Sir Bobby Charlton. The unveiling of the new name will be announced at the home match against Everton on the 2nd April in behalf of 75,000 fans. Sir Bobby Charlton has made 758 appearances for the club and scoring a record 249 goals. Just recently he also had the record of 49 goals for the England National team, until Wayne Rooney broke the record in September.

Ed Woodward commented: "Bobby is, quite simply, the most iconic figure in English football history. A player, a diplomat, a gentleman and a tireless worker for charity, he represents everything that is good about football and Manchester United. Renaming the South Stand, which contains both the Directors’ Box and the old players’ changing rooms, is a fitting tribute to all that Bobby has contributed to the club both as a player and a director.”

Sir Bobby said: “This is a great honour and I am very proud – for myself and my family – that the club has chosen to name the South Stand after me. Manchester United has been such an important part of my life and I have so many wonderful memories of this Theatre of Dreams. As a player, I remember the goals and the marvellous players I played with. As a director, I have seen some outstanding matches and players. It is a special place indeed. “I would like to thank everyone connected with Manchester United. So many people work so hard to keep us at the top; their effort should never be forgotten. But most of all, I would like to thank Norma, my wonderful wife, and my family for the support and encouragement they have always provided. This is for them.”

So it's no surprise that Bobby Charlton is receiving this great honour that he thoroughly deserves. Manchester United may not be making history now, but the history at the club remains forever. Lest we never forget.

Will Keane scores 5 goals for Manchester United U21 vs Norwich U21 8/2/2016

WILL KEANE START?

Will Keane has earned his spot to join the squad as they face Sunderland this weekend after thrashing Norwich City's U21's 7-0 and scoring five of them! This stunning form is the reason why Louis Van Gaal recalled the 23 year old striker from his loan spell at preston North End. Hopefully he'll
continue this form and bag a goal or two.
