Jose Mourinho revealed that Manchester United were close on signing Raphael Varane about four years ago from Lens until Jose Mourinho swooped him to Real Madrid. He would have been a great signing and someone we just needed and need now. He is only 21 years of age and

represented the France National team in the World Cup last summer.

The Return of Michael Carrick!

Michael Carrick could return back from injury next Monday against the in form West Bromwich Albion. The Pacey midfielder (!) has been suffering from a damaged ankle ligament. Louis Van Gaal is a big fan of dutch defender Ron Vlaar who represented Netherlands in the World Cup along side Louis Van Gaal, Robin Van Persie and Daley Blind.
