DAVID DE GEA DILEMMA

Apparently, David de Gea and Iker Muniain were implicated in a sexual assault case! David de Gea has denied the reports. I don't want to dwell too much on this news but i
f you would like to get more information on this though please follow the link below:

http://www.marca.com/en/football/national-teams/2016/06/10/575ac480ca4741b4688b4581.html

Despite David de Gea being a great keeper at Manchester United, if the reports of his assaults are true then he is worthy of any punishment issued against him even if he is the best keeper in the world. It's a shame because this could change everything.

GOODBYE VALDES :(

It's official now that Victor Valdes is departing Manchester United after signing a loan move to Belgian side Standard Liege. He tweeted: Thank you all for your support over during these months of hard work for me. I will never forget! See you soon!" David de Gea responded: "We learn a lot from the best! Good luck my friend in this new stage!" This was expected after the quarrel between Louis Van Gaal and the ex Barcelona keeper over playing him for the reserves team. It seems as if it's not only Valdes who hates Van Gaal but also Angel Di Maria who left after one season at the club! The only ever game Valdes played for the first team was the final game of the season when he came on as a substitute and boy, oh boy, he shined, and really sent a message to Louis van Gaal! It's sad when Manchester United lose great players like this, but we hope for all the best for him and the rest of his football career.

WHAT'S THE MATA?

So sorry about the title guys, I just had to! But what is the matter with Manchester United? A lot of people blame Louis Van Gaal, but for me he isn't entirely responsible for the failure of Manchester United.
Louis Van Gaal has invested in adding depth to the midfield, he has improved United's defense by buying an Italian Right Back, the rest Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Daley Blind who have all stepped up massively. He has picked a formation something he had tried to achieve last season which does work, he has kept David de Gea at Manchester United, he has chosen possessive football which has helped in order to keep important clean sheets, so where does the responsibility lie for the failure of Manchester United?
In my opinion, Wayne Rooney. He's supposed to be a captain for the biggest club in the world, he's supposed to be the main goalscorer for the team, he has all the support of creative midfielders around him: Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Michael Carrick and Juan Mata. But instead he's playing WWE!
There's too much pressure upon the youngsters at Manchester United, and you can't expect too much from a 19 year old. You can't blame Louis Van Gaal for putting trust in the, supposed to be, top scorer in the league. I think, January, Louis Van Gaal should be looking for a striker, and I also think that Louis Van Gaal should be supported and not spat upon. In your opinion who is to blame? Comment below!

VALDES EXPECTED TO LEAVE IN JANUARY

Victor Valdes's agent Gines Carvajal has revealed that Victor Valdes is expected to leave Manchester United when the transfer window reopens in January. Some may think, including me, that the ex barcelona player has been "Louis Van Harshed!" Victor Valdes only made one (i think) starts for Manchester United where he shined. Until he was very unsettled at his lack of starts for the first 11 and only featuring in academy games. Can you imagine a massive legend like Valdes only playing for the academy team! However he is a difficult player to start when you have David de Gea of course, but it would be a huge loss. In the summer he received an offer to join Valencia, but it seems as if the 33 year old is unlikely to return back to Spain.

DAVID DE GEA SIGNS!

David De Gea has signed a contract extension for another 4 years at Manchester United after the collapse of a deal with Real Madrid on deadline day. The spaniard tweeted: "I feel proud to announce that i'll continue with you and @manutd. Thanks for your unconditional support."

CONTRACT TALKS WITH DE GEA BEGIN!

David De Gea's contract deal ends in 2016 and Manchester United have previously that they've abandoned hopes of the spaniard extending that contract. After the collapse of the transfer swap with De Gea and Keylor Navas of Real Madrid (sorry i couldn't report that as i was on holiday, i needed it!)
, contract negotiations have now begun. De Gea's agent Jorge Mendes attended the Manchester United training ground today, Thursday for talks. Therefore he's expected to remain as a Manchester United player! James Cooper of Sky Sports News HQ warned United fans to temper their expectations. But we know De Gea, he has one of the most concentrated players in the game. Despite all the rumours throughout the 2014/15 season he performed and i believe he'll do the same when the time is right of course. Welcome back Dave!

LATEST TEAM NEWS

Manchester United are expected to play Belgian side Club Brugge in the Champions League play-offs on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 26th August since Manchester United finished 4th in the Barclays Premier League last season. The first leg will be played at Old Trafford. Shouldn't be a difficult game as we could have faced harder opponents such as Lazio, Monaco, CSKA Moscow etc.
Louis Van Gaal has revealed that David de Gea, Marcos Rojo and Bastian Schweinsteiger are not included in the first XI for the 2015/16 season. However that could change if Bastian Schweinsteiger and Marcos Rojo's fitness improves after late arrivals to join up with the team during preseason and injuries may vary. #jetlagged! Louis Van Gaal is not certain David de Gea is in the right frame of mind to start so Sergio Romero is likely to be first choice in goal. Speaking of David de Gea, this whole situation reminds me of two seasons ago under the manage of David Moyes, Wayne Rooney was "unsettled" and took a while to sign a new contract but eventually he stayed so hopefully that will be the same with David de Gea, and hopefully Kiko Casilla impresses Real Madrid to reduce interest in David de Gea.
Regarding the Tottenham opening match of the season tomorrow, Manchester United have an advantage over them as they have just finished their preseason tour and lost most them! And may be unfit tired and jetlagged!
Ashley Young has signed a new contract to stay at Manchester United. Good news he was on fire last season, literally!
Manchester United have just announced the new kit numbers: Marouane Fellaini 27, Sam Johnstone 50, James Wilson 19, Sergio Romero 20, Bastian Schweinsteiger 31, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian 36, Memphis Depay 7, and finally Andreas Perreira 44.
Finally Angel Di Maria has completed his move to PSG for a price of £44 million.

MANCHESTER UNITED SIGN ROMERO!

Big Surprise! Manchester United have officially signed the Argentinean goalkeeper Sergio Romero from free agency. Sergio Romero is an amazing keeper who represented Argentina in the World Cup last year in Brazil and up to the finals. At the semi finals he kept out Louis Van Gaal's Dutch squad in penalties in the semi finals. A great player to replace Victor Valdes and to even replace David de Gea if he were to leave. Great signing! It seems as if this is the mystery signing that Louis Van Gaal was getting hyped about!

DI MARIA GOODBYE?

After the victory of Manchester United over world champions Barcelona in the US preseason tour, Louis Van Gaal had a conversation or interview with the press where he said, two players who were represented in the Argentina squad for the Copa America, missed their flight to the US. The two players were Marcos Rojo and Angel Di Maria. Louis Van Gaal said that Marcos Rojo ringed up the football club saying that he had passport issues, whereas with Angel Di Maria he just blatantly missed his flight. Javier Hernandez however got his flight and has reunited with the football club. There has been amid rumours that Angel Di Maria has been linked with a move to PSG and it sounds likely to be true. But if that's how a professional football player goes about it, that's just absolutely stupid. Even if David de Gea is unsettled at United he got on the plane and performed very well against Barcelona. He's committed to play well at such a big club. I can't wait to see the back of Angel Di Maria, and i hope Ed Woodward and Louis Van Gaal make the right decision and sell the player to another club maybe Ligue 1 the best league in Europe! It's really been disappointing because us United fans have relied upon him, we've been loyal despite his poor form since of family problems etc.

GREAT PLAYERS TO BE AXED?

Unsure is the future of Angel Di Maria and Victor Valdes. However Louis Van Gaal says Manchester United are planning to sell Victor Valdes because of his refusal to play for the reserves last season which he did. Whether he did or not it seems as if Louis Van Gaal has no plans to use the Spanish keeper in the team, and realises its best to sell him now to cover wages and make profit if so since arriving from Barcelona for free. Victor Valdes is expected to leave the club this summer. This could mean that Louis Van Gaal is looking to do as much as he can to hold on to David de Gea.
Whereas with Angel Di Maria the situation is unsure as said by Louis Van Gaal. If the Argentinean is to leave the club, PSG is the first destination, who have still been linked with the winger since the arrival of him to Manchester United.

REAL MADRID DROPPING INTEREST IN DE GEA?

It seems as if Real Madrid are looking for alternatives to David de Gea after they have built interest in Espanyol's Spanish keeper Kiko Casilla. No one really knows whether the Manchester United keeper will depart the football
club. However we do understand that Real Madrid are desperate for a fresh keeper in replacement of Iker Casillas who is advancing in age and is poor in form. Therefore Real Madrid could even drop all interests in David d Gea and sign Casilla a quicker and cheaper option.

DAVID DE GEA PREPARING DEPARTURE?

From Daily Mail sources, the owner of the house of David de Gea, has put up his Chesire house for sale, which is rented by the unsettled goalkeeper ahead of rumoured departure to Real Madrid. To support this, have a look at the link below, which shows the listing advertising pictures of the mansion. However Manchester United are looking to swap over unsettled Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. Is that a smart move? Even if David de Gea is to leave, no worries. Manchester United have very long history of legendary goalkeepers and next in line could be Victor Valdes or Hugo Lloris who acquires Champions League football.

MANCHESTER UNITED TEASE MADRID/ RESPONSE TO BLEACHER REPORT/ DAILY MAIL/ GUARDIAN!

After all the reports and rumours and so forth of David de Gea apparently being unsettled. In combat to that reports from Guardian, and Daily Mail, are reporting that Manchester United would like Sergio Ramos in return for David de Gea. A lad name Jenson (?) believes that the Spanish defender has "told advisors he wants to leave the club." Well who's Jenson?! Jenson also says that Ramos was unhappy to see manager Carlo Ancelotti axed at the end of the season. Whats's that to do with him? The 29 year old has spent a decade at the Bernabeau so it sounds realistic that Sergio would like a change of scenery. The signing of Sergio Ramos sounds brilliant but, is it too good to be true?

TOP REALISTIC SIGNINGS THIS SUMMER?

1. Bernard Mensah - A midfielder from Ghana playing in the Portuguese Liga, very comfortable on the ball and dribbling through the centre and can score plenty of goals. He has been watched by Manchester United scouts towards the end of the season and could be a good attacking option, but he seems like a player who plays on the bench for example: Javier Hernandez! The signing of Mensah is a decent chance.

2. Roman Burki - Burki is a goalkeeper playing in the Bundesliga. As we understand David De Gea might or might not be on  his way out of the club. If that the case Louis Van Gaal is looking to use Victor Valdes as a first team slot. So as a back Roman Burki can fit that role, he's young and he's got great potential.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DAVID DE GEA

David De Gea has won Manchester United player of the year for a  second time in a row. The Spanish goalkeeper was voted by his Manchester United colleagues for the "United's player of the Year award", and voted by fans for the "Sir Matt Busby statuette". However his future is in doubt as De Gea is linked to Real Madrid, but this may convince him to stay.

MANCHESTER UNITED SIGN KEEPER!

Manchester United have announced the signing of former Standard Liege keeper: 16 year old Ilias Moutha-Sebtaoui from Belgium. the Belgian shot stopper is looking to replace David De Gea if he were to leave(LOL!). On a serious note he was watched by Belgium champion, Anderlecht and English Champions,
Chelsea! And also had a trial at Newcastle. Sounds good and could be a Manchester United legend for the future.

MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER - FACT OR FICTION?

1. Mats Hummels (fact) - Mats Hummels, has been on the Manchester United radar for a long tim e now and i think Hummels might be joining Manchester United this summer. I remember when Ander Herrera was linked to Manchester United for one or two seasons and eventually he joined, and i think that might  happen with Hummels. And it makes sense winning the  World Cup last season and the decreasing value of Borussia Dortmund with all the big German stars leaving and even the manager!

2. Nathaniel Clyne (fact) - Manchester United have a lack of option in that Right back position, from the playing of Antonio Valencia in that position we know there's a missing piece in the Jigsaw! And Nathaniel Clyne fits that role. He has also had a few spells and appearances for England so he could be a another player on his way to  "ye" Old Trafford!

3. Gareth Bale (fiction) I have nothing to say regarding this!

4. David De Gea (fiction) On my opinion i don't see David De Gea leaving Manchester United, at this time anyway. He loves Manchester United! But its still up to him!

REPLACEMENTS IF DE GEA WAS TO LEAVE?

Louis Van Gaal is aware that David De Gea could be on his way out of the club. Real Madrid is the likeable destination for the Spanish keeper if he is to leave the club with Iker Casillas drawing to the end of his career. But thats not a done deal, David De Gea has the choice to stay at Manchester United or leave, all up to him. Louis Van Gaal has a shortlist of replacements if David De Gea was to leave. But we still have Victor Valdes, however on Louis Van Gaal's shortlist are reportedly the following:

1. Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur), who has put off some fantastic heroic saves and is a tight contender with goalkeeper of the year int he Premier League: David De Gea.

2. Petr Cech (Chelsea), who has only played less than half of the total games this season, quality premier league legend and Liverpool are also looking to pick up the Czech.

ANDREAS PEREIRA TO JUVENTUS? - ANOTHER POGBA?

Manchester United's exciting, young prospect Andreas Pereira is unsure about his future at Manchester United and is still unsure in signing a contract with the reds. Three years ago one of our most precious youngster Paul Pogba was released to the Italian champions, and is now the best U21 player in the world of football. Im afraid that Andreas Pereira could do the same but bear in mind that the whole media were proclaiming that Tyler Blackett won't sign a contract with Manchester United and today he signed, the same with David De Gea but in the end he signed, so anything can happen.

Manchester United confirm the signing of Victor Valdes!

Manchester United have completed the signing of Victor Valdes on a
18 month contract. The ex Barcelona keeper praised and named David De Gea as the best Goalkeeper in the world.
