ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC IS RETIRING...

from Swedish International football. At the moment though, he's representing Sweden in the Euros in France.

Many people are disappointed with his failure to score a goal in the first two games of the group stages against Italy and the Republic of Ireland. But can you actually blame him. Look at the players around him! At PSG last season, he scored 50 goals! Why is that? Because he has the providers, the midfielders around him. With the likes of Verratti, Angel Di Maria... I could go on forever. When he eventually plays for Manchester United, it would be the same no doubt. We have world class midfielders who can feed him with the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Michael Carrick, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney... the list goes on. I am confident that Zlatan will be a success at Manchester United.

In fact he will retire from Sweden after the Euros in France, and will not take part in the Olympics in Rio, Brazil. His main focus is to train hard in preparation for his big season at Manchester United!

JOSE INTERESTED IN A REUNION?

Surprisingly, Jose Mourinho is looking to sign up Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea, his former managerial team.

Azpilicueta is available for a fee of £11.8 million! He is also interested by Paris Saint-Germain and Athletico Bilbao. Sounds all good, but I wouldn't want this player on our team. Especially when we have a queue of Right Backs looking for the first 11, I don't think the Chelsea man is needed.

However, it seems as if he is a very good player. Apparently, no player has made more tackles and interceptions combined in the Champions League this season! Didn't see that coming. Especially when Chelsea didn't even make it that far in the competition! He's also a very versatile player. He can play either on the left or the right of the full back roles.

Do you think we actually need Azpilicueta though?

JOSE ATTRACTS INTERESTS ELSEWHERE

Reports show that Jose Mourinho has made contact with PSG over the possible signing of Marco Verratti.

Italian company Corriere dello Sport reported that Manchester United are looking to offer up £79 million for the Italian midfielder. Which is kind of ridiculous even though he is a great player. Still, Verratti is a great player. He is often compared to Andrea Pirlo with his ability to drive accurate long balls. He's small and quick on his feet which means he can intercept play and could be just the player we need to supply our attackers. Last season, Marco Verratti played the most accurate through balls in Ligue 1. He was also included in the Ligue 1 team of the season.

Another player interested by Manchester United and also Barcelona and Napoli is Monaco's Right Back Fabinho. Fabinho can also play as a holding midfielder bagging 8 goals and 5 assists in all competitions which is quite phenomenal for a defender. Last season Fabinho won 89 tackles, 62 headed duels and 76 interceptions as wells as creating 25 chances! I've never heard of this player before in my life, but he sounds like a determined defender, something that has been lacking in the Manchester United defence. I really think that's what Mourinho is looking for in our defence, determination. And i think he expressed that in signing Eric Ba
illy. And I'm pretty sure he'll like to follow the footsteps of Anthony Martial, who is achieving dreams, and join Manchester United. And, he's only 22 years of age!

LATEST ON MORATA

Reports show that Alvaro Morata would love to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United. According to Spanish Newspaper AS, Morata is only interested in playing for Chelsea or Manchester United but it's only likely that he'll sign for Manchester United.

Apparently though, Manchester United are looking to sign the Spanish striker for £47 million as investment. Manchester United will be looking to sign the striker very quickly as he is in demand by the bigger clubs such as PSG.

Who thinks that Alvaro Morata will be a successful striker at the club?

ZLATAN MOVE DELAYED

The move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United has unfortunately delayed.

It seems as if the Swedish international would like to compete in the Olympics, representing his country as he approaches the final chapter of his career. That also means that he could also miss out on the start of the 2016/17 season as recovery time off the Euros being held currently in France and the Olympics in Rio, Brazil.
Reports also show that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would not leave Paris Saint Germain until the end of this month as he's due for a £1 million bonus - it's very complicated. It leaves me wondering whether all of this stress is worth it for a player that's only going to play for a season. It's the equivalence of signing a really good youngster from a team that doesn't want to sell the player but at least it's a long term plan. What do you think?

To be honest though, all the hard work will pay off. We're signing a world class striker for goodness sake!

ATTENTION LOUIS!

Edinson Cavani has been rumoured with a move to Manchester United in the last two years, and I think now, we actually need to consider signing him up, immediately. There are so many teams in for this guy and there's so many reasons why. In the last couple of posts, I have mentioned Wayne Rooney working well alongside another striker, and Edinson Cavani is the best option. The Uruguayan has scored 12 goals in 21 appearances. Fantastic! But what's the chances of Manchester United signing this goal machine? Well, if you don't already, Edinson Cavani plays for Paris St Germain. The first connotation of PSG is Zlatan Ibrahimovic! So, most of the time, Edinson Cavani is pushed out on the wing in order to cater for the Swedish legend. So this frustrates him. As we all know, Manchester United are struggling to score goals, but Edinson Cavani is a player that can turn this all around. Which goalscorer would you like to see at Old Trafford? Comment Below!

"I NEVER WANTED TO JOIN MANCHESTER UNITED" - ANGEL DI MARIA

Lies. Manchester United flop, Angel Di Maria recently revealed in a recent interview with Spanish newspaper, Marca: "My intention was always to stay at Madrid," he continued saying, "My move to PSG could have happened before the summer but I didn't for financial reasons and I ended up going to United. In the summer I had the chance to go there again and I could not say no."

Is that why Manchester United signed the winger for a British record fee of £59.7 million and on a five year contract? Is that a cover up or an excuse for his poor performance at Manchester United, 3 goals in 20 appearances in the Premier League? And neither is he doing well at PSG either with 2 goals in 7 appearances in the French Ligue 1. Maybe after his season at PSG he'll say, my intention was always to stay a United!

There can be many interpretations to this saga but it all goes down to this, Angel Di Maria is a flop, a liar and a disgrace to football! I am sure he's not favoured by Madrid or United fans.

THURSDAY CATCH UP NEWS

This is just a catch up on all that has been going on this week.
Reports in France and an important member of the Monaco team actually admitted that another club bidded for the 19 year old and that team was Chelsea! The even bidded more than what Manchester United bought. Yet the little star chose Manchester United. What a good decision! He's a legend in the making! (If Real Madrid or PSG don't bid for him at the age of 21!)
More French news, Patrice Evra has come out to say that he is still annoyed about the way he transferred from Manchester United to the Italian giants, Juventus. Two months after he signed a one year contract he was sold to Juventus. It's sad news but it's nice to see his heart is still with Manchester United although winning the Title and Cup in Italy.

"DEAR UNITED FANS" - ANGEL DI MARIA

Angel Di Maria has written a letter to all supporters etc of Manchester United after his departure to Manchester United for £44.3 million, it reads: "When Manchester United chose me as part of their team, I felt extremely honoured because I knew what this club means and how it trusted me. Nevertheless, I'm aware things didn't work as we all expected and believe me, I feel really sorry about it. However, in the career of a football player, sometimes the unexpected and unwanted may happen. I can guarantee you it was not for trying. I did my best but football is not like maths: often a lot of things out of our control affect the way we feel and the way things turn out. I am sorry it did not work out as I would have wished in this amazing, huge club. I want to give special thanks to all the directors and management of Manchester United as well as to every member of the staff and colleagues as they gave me all their support. Also a special mention to all the fans who always trusted me and showed me their respect and love. Now is time to move to PSG but the Glorious Manchester United club will be forever in my memory! Wish you all the best in the world. With best regards, Angel di Maria."

LYON SIGN RAFAEL, PSG SIGN DI MARIA

Lyon have officially completed the signing of Manchester United's Brazilian Right Back, Rafael da Silva. It looked as if Rafael didn't suit Louis Van Gaal's philosophy. Last season he spent most of the time playing for the reserves team. And after the signing of Matteo Darmian that Rafael is certainly not in his plans. A sad loss, he was favoured very well by Sir Alex Ferguson and was very energetic and very quick. Sad. Also PSG have also signed Angel Di Maria, I don'
t really want to say much about that.

DI MARIA GOODBYE?

After the victory of Manchester United over world champions Barcelona in the US preseason tour, Louis Van Gaal had a conversation or interview with the press where he said, two players who were represented in the Argentina squad for the Copa America, missed their flight to the US. The two players were Marcos Rojo and Angel Di Maria. Louis Van Gaal said that Marcos Rojo ringed up the football club saying that he had passport issues, whereas with Angel Di Maria he just blatantly missed his flight. Javier Hernandez however got his flight and has reunited with the football club. There has been amid rumours that Angel Di Maria has been linked with a move to PSG and it sounds likely to be true. But if that's how a professional football player goes about it, that's just absolutely stupid. Even if David de Gea is unsettled at United he got on the plane and performed very well against Barcelona. He's committed to play well at such a big club. I can't wait to see the back of Angel Di Maria, and i hope Ed Woodward and Louis Van Gaal make the right decision and sell the player to another club maybe Ligue 1 the best league in Europe! It's really been disappointing because us United fans have relied upon him, we've been loyal despite his poor form since of family problems etc.

GREAT PLAYERS TO BE AXED?

Unsure is the future of Angel Di Maria and Victor Valdes. However Louis Van Gaal says Manchester United are planning to sell Victor Valdes because of his refusal to play for the reserves last season which he did. Whether he did or not it seems as if Louis Van Gaal has no plans to use the Spanish keeper in the team, and realises its best to sell him now to cover wages and make profit if so since arriving from Barcelona for free. Victor Valdes is expected to leave the club this summer. This could mean that Louis Van Gaal is looking to do as much as he can to hold on to David de Gea.
Whereas with Angel Di Maria the situation is unsure as said by Louis Van Gaal. If the Argentinean is to leave the club, PSG is the first destination, who have still been linked with the winger since the arrival of him to Manchester United.

RUMOURS TRUE OR FALSE?

1. Robin Van persie to Fenerbahce - I think this is false, Louis Van Gaal is a massive fan of Robin Van Persie, they're from the same land, he fits Van Gaal's philosophy and he Louis Van Gaal even used him as captain in the World Cup for the Netherlands
National Team last year finishing in 3rd place. Louis Van Gaal would not let this player go and with lesser of strikers it doesn't seem like Manchester United would want to blow them all away! And although he hasn't had the best of seasons, i still think that he has made a few differences in some key games and has scored some remarkable and very important goals last season.
2. Di Maria stupid swap deals! This is just stupid journalism. Angel Di Maria has had a tough season and you can't really blame that all upon him. The winger from Argentina who recently arrived from Real Madrid last season a few months ago had his house robbed so it would've put a lot of pressure upon his family and media and his gameplay. Di Maria is not going to PSG but yes they were interested in buying him before he made his departure to Manchester United, but he is proud to be a Manchester United player and to wear the shirt!

ANGEL DI MARIA FACES THE PRESSURE

Angel Di Maria has been facing so much pressure with social life and media and it's been affecting his game. The record breaking signing was recently burgled and his wife had reportedly refused to return to their property in Cheshire and him and his family have found it difficult to settle. Neither would! In fact the argentinean has put up his mansion for £4.1 million. All of this results to poor form from Angel Di Maria, but you have to feel for him. He is still a player we won't want to loose he is fantastic, unfortunately PSG will be looking to grab Angel in the summer. If that should occur that will be a loss of £10 million according to David McDonnell of the Mirror.
